FANTASTIC GRAD PANEL

So as a part of third year animation at Emily Carr, I have to present my grad film ideas to a panel to be approved for the following fourth year. I have to organize a budget and a schedule, and do lots and lots of art and animation for it. It takes planning and dedication, and a little bit of luck I would say : d

Conceptual

Conceptual work involves characters more than backgrounds and settings, at least for myself. I like to imagine a character and then from that character I can pull context and surroundings.

How I feel

Most of the time, especially this school year, I find myself making these faces.

I don’t know if this is a good thing or a bad thing….

Blenz with Danniel

So working out ideas and just hanging out in general at Blenz is probably something I want to do regularly. So come Friday, I wanna make coffee at Blenz + my sketchbook+ friends = a constant. I had fun, and I was productive O_O

Trauma

So life has been quite bumpy lately. Many things altering, and I have been constantly fretting about everything. I think having school finishing and being done will help me sort out all of this dang confusion.

Something I’ve been finding relief in is this bookmaking project. I’m having a lot of fun. I can’t wait to make my prints!
